The Team
Jeromy Metz, President
Jeromy Metz is a consultant who helps owners of small and mid-size businesses reach their professional and personal goals. He ran and owned a family business for over 22 years and increased annual revenue by an average of 18 percent per year.
As a business owner, Metz generated multiple revenue streams beyond the company’s core services and built partnerships with numerous complementary businesses.
He directed the purchase of real estate, which included space for a fleet of over 50 vehicles and managed the design of a 24,000-square-foot building. He also navigated both an intergenerational transfer and a sale to a private equity group.
Metz is rare combination of natural problem solver and intuitive empath. He has built leadership teams by recognizing and developing talent; setting high, yet achievable, performance standards; motivating by example; and trusting managers to do their jobs.
As a consultant, he collects and analyzes data, assesses a company’s culture, and establishes performance indicators before recommending new processes or policies. He is skilled at managing course corrections and achieving success through boom-and-bust cycles.
As the owner of a family business, Metz established a culture that rewarded all employees and upheld his family’s values of hard work and integrity. He managed the delicate tasks of inserting new family employees into the company and “decommissioning” others. By creating an environment in which both family and nonfamily employees could thrive, the company earned recognition as a Top Workplace in Denver for nine years in a row.
Metz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Denver and a master’s degree in education from Colorado State University. He’s an avid golfer, aging hockey player, and adventurous traveler who enjoys spending time with family and friends.
